Week 11 Big Ten picks

This weekend there are several games of betting interest int he college football world. Our own Boilermakers a 5 point underdog on the road at Iowa, where they have not even won a game in 20 years. If interested in players rewards cards please visit this site.

If I were a betting man I would bet heavily on Iowa to win, and I mean heavily. The Purdue offense has been a disaster since the Big Ten season. The Boilermakers have scored on the first drive in each of their last four games, but have not managed a single point int he second quarter of those games while giving up almost 30 per game after scoring first. it is an ugly situation.

So that is really my advice. You need to pick against Purdue and laugh all the way to the bank.

In other Big Ten games the Indiana Hoosiers are seven point underdogs at home to Wisconsin, but the Badgers actually know what it is like to play for championships. Their running game is too strong and the defense can be the first to slow down the surprisingly potent Hoosier offense. The Badgers are all but a lock to cover, mostly because Indiana is still Indiana.

Pick Minnesota over Illinois because Illinois is by far the worst team in the league. Northwestern is an interesting challenge against Michigan, especially if Denard Robinson is out. Only pick the Wolverines if Robinson starts.

Finally, the Nebraska-Penn State game will be decided by how well Taylor Martinez plays. If he limits the turnovers the Cornhuskers walk.
